The NFAF (No Fear All Faith) Youth Group took a trip to Minneapolis on August 18-20, 2005. We left Fordville at 7:30am and arrived in Minneapolis around 2:00pm. We stopped at the rest area in Alexandria MN for a picnic lunch.

The chaperones for this trip were Vicki Best, Kathy Iverson, Jamie Jallo and Pastor Jon Strasman. There were 21 youth that joined them on this trip. We stayed at Bethlehem Lutheran Church where we had the whole third floor to ourselves.

Once we arrived in Minneapolis, we checked in at the church and dropped off our bags. We arrived earlier than planned, so we had time to relax and freshen up before heading off to the Twins game. We parked our vehicles at the park and ride and took the metro train to the Dome.

After an awesome Twins game against the Seattle Mariners, Twins winning 7 – 4, we headed back to the church. We had devotions and ordered in pizza.

Friday morning we got up early to shower at the YMCA before heading off to Valley Fair. We spent the biggest share of the day at Valley Fair – heading back to the church at 5:15pm. After showering, we headed downtown to the Nicollete Mall to find someplace to eat. We ate at Apple Bees and ordered dessert at the Cold Stone Creamery.

Saturday morning we got up early, packed and headed back to Fordville. We all stopped at West Acres in Fargo for dinner and a little shopping. A good time was had by all.
